We are a Yorkshire wedding photographer and videographer team from Sheffield; A husband and wife duo who love, love! We’re adventurers at heart and hopeless romantics by choice. We’ve found our happy place anywhere that love grows.
We met up with Amethys + Lewis back in October on a last-minute shoot. We were so busy with our wedding season and we just moved into our new house which took up a lot of our schedule. Although we had virtually no time to spare, we made sure we carved some time for them both seeing as their wedding was coming up in May 2025!
It was important for A+L to meet us in person for their pre-shoot to help Lewis become more comfortable with us. He specifically didn’t enjoy having his photo taken and didn’t feel confident in front of the camera… (Even though you wouldn’t think this from the photos we captured!) Like most couples, there is always some apprehension when getting your photo taken professionally. We hear it a lot and it’s the most common question we get asked! ‘What if we’re awkward?’ We focus on making you feel comfortable first and foremost, and we give you specific prompts which keep your mind occupied. There will be no stiff posing or traditional stances! Most of the time, we go for a walk and chat through your wedding plans and general life stuff. There is never any pressure on these shoots, we’re here to capture who and how you are when you’re together and also it’s a great way to get to know each other ahead of your wedding!
We are so very excited to capture their wedding in May, we’ve heard so much about their plans already!
