An earthy and relaxed fun wedding at Tithe Barn. Danii + Jonny

We are a Sheffield wedding photographer and videographer team from South Yorkshire; A husband and wife duo who love, love! We’re adventurers at heart and hopeless romantics by choice. We’ve found our happy place anywhere that love grows.

We first met childhood sweethearts, Danii + Jonny on their couple shoot ahead of their wedding at The Tithe Barn. We decided on a small town close to both of us, which happened to be Danii’s hometown! See their lovely shoot here.

Danii + Jonny decided to hire a gorgeous Airbnb close by which hosted both Bridal + Groom parties. This was perfect for us because it meant we could go to and from them both easily. The house itself had tonnes of natural light which is a photographer’s dream. Danii opted for a very calm, and relaxing morning while Jonny had whipped out a few whiskeys in the AM for his morning!

The colour scheme was very earthy, neutral and full of lovely greens and oranges. It’s one of our favourite themes, it’s timeless and always photographs so well. With their venue being a Cripps + Co, they didn’t need much to spruce it up! The incredible florals and bouquets we’re created by the talented Allotment Florist.

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you we had torrential rain before and during the ceremony. It was one of the worst downpours we’d had all Summer, luckily we got the guests in and Danii arrived completely dry thanks to her bridal party and the staff at Tithe Barn! Even though they were hoping for gorgeous summer sunshine, they did not let it dampen their spirits. We managed to get all of the group shots outside, we had them covered and safe under the lovely door arch while we tackled the rain, with our cameras and umbrellas.

It was important to both of them, that their day featured a lot of their close family + friends, so we made it our mission to capture as much as possible in the images and also in their full-feature film. We especially enjoyed their couple portraits in the evening, we had a little break in the rain on the weather app. I think we had 15 minutes to get them all done. Because we had shot with them before on their pre-shoot, these two knew exactly what to do and we managed to get so many lovely shots. Another great reason to get those pre-shoots booked in!

Their evening celebrations kicked off with a fun game of Mr + Mrs, this got the party started and added such a fun atmosphere. Luckily for us, they had booked the awesome Fusion Girls and got the guests into the mood for dancing. They are an all-female unique trio of DJ mixing, light-up sax & percussion and they we’re electric! So fun to watch them light the room up.
